Regular Season Round 27: Stal Ostrow - Anwil 71-75

An interesting game for Anwil (22-7) which played road game in Ostrow Wlkp. against 3rd placed BM Slam Stal (20-9). Second ranked Anwil managed to get a 4-point victory 75-71. It ended at the same time the 12-game winning streak of BM Slam Stal. 25 personal fouls committed by BM Slam Stal helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for the former international point guard Kamil Laczynski (183-89) who led his team to a victory with 9 points and 4 assists. The former international swingman Michal Chylinski (196-86, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 13 points for the winners. American swingman Marc-Antonio Carter (191-85, college: NC-Wilmington, agency: Interperformances) answered with 14 points and 5 assists and Vincentian center Shawn King (208-82, college: ORU, agency: Pensack Sports) added 10 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for BM Slam Stal. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Anwil have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Stelmet ZG. BM Slam Stal at the other side keeps the third place with nine games lost. Anwil is looking forward to face Rosa (#5) in Radom in the next round. BM Slam Stal will play on the road against PGE Turow in Zgorzelec and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
