Second Stage Round 8: Leotar - Gradjanski 91-79

An interesting game took place in Trebinje where 8th ranked Gradjanski (3-4) was upset on the court of eleventh ranked Leotar (2-4) 91-79. Leotar outrebounded Gradjanski 51-29 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 33 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Gradjanski's players. Guard Stefan Mijovic (196-95) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Swingman Vladimir Aleksic (198-87) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Leotar players scored in double figures. Serbian Nikola Milesic replied with 27 points and 6 rebounds and Montenegrin point guard Nenad Vukovic (192-94) added 16 points in the effort for Gradjanski. Leotar maintains eleventh position in I with 2-4 record. Gradjanski at the other side dropped to the ninth place with four games lost. Leotar's next round opponent will be higher ranked Bosnjak (#10) in Hadzici and it may be quite challenging game.
