Osorno coasted past CDE Talca in the championship series opener. The game without a history. Osorno Basquetbol led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. American forward Brandon Robinson (198-89, college: Clayton St.) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. International forward Juan Fontena (196-87) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. American forward Dwight McCombs (203-89, college: Cent.Florida, agency: DTMones) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import swingman Decorey Jones (201-90, college: Faulkner) added 13 points and 13 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
