Regular Season Round 29: Cambados - Valladolid 59-63

The game between second ranked Cambados (20-9) and ninth ranked Blancos de Rueda (16-13) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Cambados was defeated by Blancos de Rueda in a tough game in Cambados 59-63. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 24-13. But Cambados won second period 16-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was center Sergio De-La-Fuente (198-89) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. British forward Rowell Graham (197-94) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Adrian Chapela (192-94) produced 15 points and British Matthew Don (201-93, college: Cameron) added 7 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Blancos de Rueda moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Zornotza. Cambados at the other side dropped to the third position with nine games lost. Blancos de Rueda is looking forward to face league's second-placed CB Granada at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Cambados will play against Agustinos-Leclerc in Leon and is hoping to win this game.
