Quarter-Finals Round 3: Angers - Lyon 76-68

Lyon trailed by 12 points at halftime and as many as 15 after three quarters before a 28-21 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 68-76 at the end of the game. It was a great shooting night for Angers especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 62.5 percentage. It was a great evening for American guard Shaqwedia Wallace (175-89, college: Temple, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory scoring 24 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Forward Clarince Djaldi-Tabdi (183-95) helped adding 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks. The best for the losing side was American forward Lauren Ervin (191-85, college: Arkansas, agency: Two Points) with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and the former international center Christelle Diallo (193-93) scored 17 points and 4 assists. Lyon's coach Etienne Faye rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
