Regular Season Round 29: Boulazac - Blois 56-75

The game in Boulazac was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked ADA Blois (16-13) played at the court of 6th ranked Boulazac Basket (16-13). ADA Blois did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 75-56 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by ADA Blois. Boulazac Basket was better in fourth quarter 18-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Boulazac Basket 39-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. Florent Tortosa (198-89) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 5 rebounds. Benjamin Monclar (191-88) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Four ADA Blois players scored in double figures. Power forward Alexis Tanghe (207-90) answered with 15 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) and swingman Stephan Gauthier (192-95) added 11 points in the effort for Boulazac Basket. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. ADA Blois moved-up to third place, which they share with 5 other teams including defeated Boulazac Basket. ADA Blois will face Nantes (#9) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Boulazac Basket will play against SO Maritime Boulogne (#15) in Boulogne-sur-Mer and hope to win that game.
