Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Bottegone (16-14) edged at home 13th ranked Sangiorgese (12-18) 88-85 on Saturday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Bottegone dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Sangiorgese's 32. Sangiorgese was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. Daniele Toscano (196-93, agency: Players Group) scored 11 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and center Roberto Marconato (205-78) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Daniele-Mario Benzoni (196-80) with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Simone Tomasini (196-93) scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Bottegone and four Sangiorgese players scored in double figures. Sangiorgese's coach Silvano Picarelli rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bottegone moved-up to sixth place in B. Loser Sangiorgese dropped to the eleventh position with 18 games lost.
