The game with biggest result difference took place in Sopot. Local Trefl (17-13) outscored 15th ranked Start (8-23) 92-70 on Saturday night. The best player for the winners was Serbian power forward Nikola Markovic (208-89) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. The former international Filip Dylewicz (202-80) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Trefl's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Nick Kellogg (190-91, college: Ohio) produced 22 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import power forward Jason Boone (203-85, college: New York U., agency: Three Eye Sports) added 15 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for the guests. Trefl will face league's leader Anwil in Wloclawek in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Start will play at home against Siarka (#17) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
