Regular Season Round 29: Polpharma - AZS Koszalin 75-72

Fourteenth-ranked AZS Koszalin (9-22) made lots of trouble for ninth ranked Polpharma (18-13) in Starogard. Polpharma managed to secure only three-point victory 75-72. However their fans expected much easier game. American point guard Anthony Miles (185-89, college: Lamar) nailed 24 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and Serbian power forward Uros Mirkovic (205-82, agency: BeoExcell) accounted for 21 points and 9 rebounds. Four Polpharma players scored in double figures. American point guard Remon Nelson (175-90, college: FoKoPo) came up with 29 points and the other American import power forward Kevin Johnson (201-84, college: Humboldt St.) added 7 points and 14 rebounds respectively for AZS Koszalin in the defeat. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Polpharma. They moved-up to seventh place. AZS Koszalin at the other side keeps the fourteenth position with 22 games lost. Polpharma's next round opponent will be Asseco (#13) in Gdynia which should be theoretically an easy game. AZS Koszalin will play at home against Wilki Morskie and hope to win that game.
