Regular Season Round 30: Valladolid - Granada 80-59

The most important game in the last round took place in Valladolid between second ranked CB Granada (20-10) and seventh ranked Blancos de Rueda (17-13) on Saturday night. CB Granada was crushed by Blancos de Rueda on the road 59-80. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of CB Granada. The hosts trailed by 9 points at the halftime before their 48-18 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Blancos de Rueda dominated on the defensive end, holding CB Granada to just 5 points in third quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to CB Granada's 24. It was a good game for center Sergio De-La-Fuente (198-89) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds. British forward Rowell Graham (197-94) contributed with 14 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Croatian guard Ivan Milekovic (195-88) replied with 15 points and naturalized Argentinian forward Alejandro Bortolussi (202-89) added 10 points in the effort for CB Granada. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Blancos de Rueda have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Avila and Zornotza. CB Granada at the other side dropped to the third position with ten games lost. They share it with Lucentum.
