Regular Season Round 30: Agustinos-Leclerc - Cambados 76-85

Very expected game when 11th ranked Agustinos-Leclerc (13-17) lost to third ranked Cambados (21-9) in Leon 76-85 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-76. It was a good game for British Matthew Don (201-93, college: Cameron) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds. Mexican forward Mauricio Cheda (198-90, college: UTEP) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Four Cambados players scored in double figures. Senegalese forward Lamine Dieng (203-92, college: Pittsburg St.) replied with 19 points and 8 rebounds and American-Nigerian Bryant Mbamalu (191-91, college: La-Lafayette, agency: Duran International) added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Agustinos-Leclerc. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cambados moved-up to second place. Agustinos-Leclerc lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh position with 17 games lost.
