There was a small surprise when twelfth ranked Nantes (14-15) won against at home 10th ranked SPO Rouen (14-15) 78-66 on Tuesday. Nantes shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American Christopher McKnight (201-87, college: Akron, agency: Octagon Europe) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 6 rebounds. Latvian Rihards Kuksiks (197-88, college: Arizona St., agency: HMS) contributed with 19 points for the winners. American-Bahamas forward Jonathan Fairell (201-93, college: Murray St., agency: Duran International) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds and Icelandic Haukur Palsson (197-92, college: Maryland) added 11 points in the effort for SPO Rouen. Nantes moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated SPO Rouen. Nantes will face higher ranked ADA Blois (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
