Regular Season Round 29: St Chamond - Blois 79-55

There was a surprise result when seventeenth ranked Saint Chamond (11-18) crushed at home 4th placed ADA Blois (16-13) 79-55 on Tuesday. The game without a history. Saint Chamond led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American guard BA Walker (184-84, college: VCU, agency: Inception Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 7 assists. Naturalized Ivorian swingman Guy-Landry Edi (202-88, college: Gonzaga, agency: Promotex) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Saint Chamond players scored in double figures. American Lamayn Wilson (203-80, college: Troy) answered with 13 points and 7 rebounds and British-Ghanian center Eric Boateng (208-85, college: Arizona St.) added 11 points in the effort for ADA Blois. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Saint Chamond moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser ADA Blois dropped to the third position with 13 games lost. Saint Chamond will face league's second-placed Provence Basket in Fos-sur-Mer in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ADA Blois will play at home against Nantes and hope to win that game.
