Hapoel B/S upset Hapoel K/S on the road to surge ahead in the series. Hapoel B/S dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Hapoel Kfar Saba's 24. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Jeff Allen (201-87, college: Virginia Tech) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists. His fellow American import swingman Jason Williams (198-83, college: UTEP) accounted for 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Five Hapoel B/S players scored in double figures. Point guard Adi Cohen (178-93) came up with 27 points and 6 assists and forward Eitan Rotemberg (197-91) added 22 points respectively for Hapoel Kfar Saba in the defeat.
