Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Tokyo: Tokyo Cinq R. (#5) and Otsuka A. (#4). Tokyo Cinq R. (18-32) won against visiting Otsuka A. (25-25) 85-72. American forward Jermaine Green (203-80, college: N.Texas, agency: Haylett Sports) notched 19 points to lead the effort and guard Rintaro Takeda (175-91) supported him with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four Tokyo Cinq R. players scored in double figures. Even 20 points by American forward Ray Raymond (203-84, college: Wisconsin) did not help to save the game for Otsuka A.. His fellow American import forward Kyle Richardson (201-91, college: Portland St.) added 12 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tokyo Cinq R. have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 18-32 record. Otsuka A. at the other side keeps the fourth place with 25 games lost. Tokyo Cinq R. will play against league's second-placed Kanazawa Sam. in Ishikawa in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Otsuka A. will play on the road against Saitama Broncos and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
