Valladolid beat Lucentum to draw things level. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Blancos de Rueda dominated on the defensive end, holding Meridiano Alicante to just 7 points in third quarter. They outrebounded Meridiano Alicante 36-24 including 27 on the defensive glass. Center Sergio De-La-Fuente (198-89) notched a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and British forward Rowell Graham (197-94) supported him with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Even 10 points and 5 rebounds by forward Alejandro Reyes (197-93) did not help to save the game for Meridiano Alicante. Power forward Guillermo Rejon (206-77) added 4 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the hosts. Meridiano Alicante's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
