Karlsruhe PS upset Weissenhorn on the road to take 1-0 lead in the Finals. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jordan Talbert (198-91, college: Missouri So.) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Deon McDuffie (186-93, college: Rattelsdorf) contributed with 11 points and 6 assists for the winners. Hungarian point guard Marcell Pongo (194-97) answered with 14 points, 7 assists and 4 steals and center Bjoern Rohwer (213-95) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Weissenhorn Youngstars. Weissenhorn Youngstars' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
