Very expected game when 16th ranked Braunschweig (6-26) lost on the road to eleventh ranked BG Goettingen (14-18) 114-107 on Monday. BG Goettingen made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. BG Goettingen outrebounded Braunschweig 45-31 including 19 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American swingman Alex Ruoff (198-86, college: W.Virginia, agency: Inception Sports) notched a double-double by scoring 28 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and the other American import point guard Jesse Sanders (190-89, college: Liberty) supported him with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. BG Goettingen's coach Johannes Roijakkers used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 31 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists by Canadian forward Dyshawn Pierre (198-93, college: Dayton, agency: BeoBasket) did not help to save the game for Braunschweig.
