Rieker Komarno stunned Kosice to reach SBL Finals. The game without a history. Rieker KN led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Kosice's 32. Rieker KN forced 24 Kosice turnovers. Slovenian guard Boban Tomic (190-88) scored 22 points and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Roman Vido (204-88) chipped in 14 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Serbian guard Stefan Matovic (203-91, agency: BeoExcell) with 8 points and 10 rebounds and the former international center Michal Batka (204-87) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
