Date: May 2, 2017
Lyon outrebounded Angers 42-28 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Angers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American forward Lauren Ervin (191-85, college: Arkansas, agency: Two Points) who scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. Mali center Djene Diawara (192-85) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Shaqwedia Wallace (175-89, college: Temple, agency: LBM Management) who recorded 22 points and 7 rebounds and Marie Mane (183-95) added 9 points respectively. Angers' coach David Girandiere rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
