Semi-Finals Game 1: MZT Skopje - Kumanovo 71-51

MZT Skopje fired past Kumanovo in the opener. The game was mostly controlled by MZT Skopje. Kumanovo was better in second period 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Kumanovo to just 7 points in fourth quarter. They outrebounded Kumanovo 47-24 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. MZT Skopje brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Croatian center Jure Lalic (211-86) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and Serbian swingman Djordje Drenovac (201-92) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds. Four MZT Skopje players scored in double figures. At the losing side international forward Marjan Janevski (203-88) responded with 13 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian swingman Miladin Pekovic (197-83, agency: BeoExcell) scored 11 points.
