There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Gran Canaria B (15-15) was defeated at home by tenth ranked Alcobendas (14-15) 63-47 on Saturday. The game without a history. Alcobendas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Gran Canaria B to just 7 points in second quarter. Alcobendas forced 24 Gran Canaria B turnovers. Power forward Daniel Trachsel (202-94) scored 9 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Nicolas Bermudez (193-95) chipped in 11 points during the contest. Alcobendas' coach Jose Antonio Ramirez used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
