Zornotza topped Avila to advance into the semifinal stage. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Fontedoso Carrefour won fourth quarter 19-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bahamas swingman JR Cadot (196-87, college: TCU, agency: Dynamics Global Management) fired a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Serbian power forward Vasilije Vucetic (209-96) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. Four Zornotza players scored in double figures. Zornotza's coach Mikel Garitaonandia used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Connor Beranek (198-94, college: Nebraska-Kearney, agency: Duran International) produced a double-double by scoring 31 points and 12 rebounds and British William Hall (201-91, agency: Dynamics Global Management) added 8 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side.
