Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked UCAM Murcia (13-18) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Unicaja Malaga (21-10) 95-88 on Wednesday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Unicaja Malaga made 35-of-43 free shots (81.4 percent) during the game, while UCAM Murcia only scored fourteen points from the stripe. The best player for the winners was Serbian point guard Nemanja Nedovic (191-91, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 24 points. American guard Jamar Smith (191-87, college: S.Indiana, agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 20 points. Unicaja Malaga will meet at home Sevilla (#15) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. UCAM Murcia will play against the league's second-placed Valencia Basket (#2) and hope to secure a win.
