EA7 Armani surrendered to Betaland Capo d'Orlando in the opener. Armani Milano trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 29-23 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 80-87 at the end of the game. Betaland Cdo forced 22 Armani Milano turnovers. Strangely Armani Milano outrebounded Betaland Cdo 42-24 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Power forward Antonio Iannuzzi (208-91, agency: Two Points) fired 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Serbian guard Milenko Tepic (202-87, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 17 points and 7 assists. Four Betaland Cdo players scored in double figures. International power forward Davide Pascolo (201-90) produced 24 points (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and Croatian swingman Krunoslav Simon (197-85) added 11 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
