The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Guaiqueries (21-13) in Puerto Ordaz on Tuesday night. Visitors were edged by third ranked Gigantes (16-18) 71-69. The hosts trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 24-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game.
