An interesting game was played in Chicago where Dream (#1) beat host Sky (#5) 91-83 on Friday evening. Guard Tiffany Hayes (177-89, college: Connecticut) scored 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Layshia Clarendon (175-91, college: California) chipped in 18 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Five Dream players scored in double figures. Guard Cappie Pondexter (175-83, college: Rutgers) responded with 22 points and 7 assists and guard Tamera Young (188-86, college: JMU, agency: ProDep Management) scored 18 points and 4 steals. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dream will meet at home Sparks in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sky will play against Sun and hope to win that game.
