Regular Season Round 2: Huracanes PP - Indios SFM 80-88

No shocking result in a game in Puerto Plata where Indios SFM (2-0) defeated Huracanes PP (0-2) 88-80 on Tuesday. The guests trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 8 points. The best player for the winners was guard Gerardo Suero (193-89, college: Albany) who scored 23 points and 5 rebounds. American point guard Ashton Gibbs (188-90, college: Pittsburgh) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Jamaican Kevin Foster (203-89, college: Fresno St., agency: Haylett Sports) produced 21 points and 8 rebounds and naturalized American guard Maurice Carter (183-83, college: Robert Morris) added 19 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Indios SFM will face Metros STGO in Santiago in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Huracanes PP will play at home against Reales LV (#4) and hope to win that game.
