Regular Season Round 26: Cimarrones - Condores 85-77

An interesting game for Cimarrones (15-7) which hosted in Quibdo-Choco one of their biggest challengers Condores (12-14). Third ranked Cimarrones managed to get a 8-point victory 85-77. Cimarrones forced 19 Condores turnovers and outrebounded them 42-29 including 27 on the defensive glass. American swingman Amir Carraway (198-91, college: Chico St.) scored 37 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Venezuelan Jose Rodriguez (197-94) chipped in 22 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. American point guard Ryan McCoy (183-87, college: La-Lafayette, agency: Haylett Sports) responded with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists and his fellow American import forward Lamar Roberson (203-86, college: La-Lafayette, agency: Interlace Hoops) scored 19 points. Four Condores players scored in double figures. Cimarrones have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 15-7 record having ten points less than leader Fast Break. Condores at the other side keep the fourth place with 14 games lost. Cimarrones will play against league's leader Fast Break in Bogota in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Condores will play on the road against Piratas in Bogota and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
