Very expected game in Bunbury where 12th ranked Giants (7-17) were defeated by sixth ranked Slammers (14-9) 92-79 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American-Irish forward Brian Voelkel (198-92, college: Vermont, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. South Sudanese guard Teny Puot (180-91) chipped in 23 points and 5 steals.
