Latvia outscored Mali in the classification round clash. Digna Strautmane secured 13 points and 7 rebounds to lead the Baltic team. Latvia posted a 32:26 halftime advantage. They extended the margin at 12-point mark heading into the fourth term. Latvia stayed in front throughout the final quarter and raced to the victory. Laura Grabe chipped in 11 points for Latvia. Adama Coulibaly came up with 11 points and 11 rebounds for the African team.
