Regular Season Round 20: Falcons - Our Saviour 58-79

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 10th ranked Falcons' (2-6) home loss to ninth ranked Our Saviour (3-7) in Kampala 58-79 on Sunday. Our Saviour forced 19 Falcons turnovers and outrebounded them 46-30 including a 34-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by forward Steven Mwesigye who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and center Daniel Monoja supported him with 9 points and 14 rebounds. Our Saviour's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 15 points by forward Asiko Dickson did not help to save the game for Falcons. Center Francis Karoro (-89) added 17 points for the hosts. Our Saviour moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Sharing Youth. Loser Falcons dropped to the eleventh position with six games lost.
