Very expected game in Manama where Al-Bahrain (0-2) was defeated by Al-Najma (2-0) 106-93 on Tuesday. Al-Najma looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Haminn Quantance had a double-double by scoring 30 points, 21 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and forward Abbas Jawadi (178-90) chipped in 27 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) during the contest. Four Al-Najma players scored in double figures. Senegalese forward Sidy Sall (206, college: Christian Brothers, agency: Two Points) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds and Ali Jalil scored 8 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists.
