Regular Season Round 3: Chalon - Levallois 77-79

A very interesting game took place in Chalon. It ended with only two-point home defeat of Chalon/Saor (0-3) to Paris-Levallois (1-2) 79-77 on Saturday evening. Chalon/Saor was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. It was an exceptional evening for Slovenian guard Klemen Prepelic (191-92) who led the winners and scored 29 points. American power forward Gavin Ware (206-93, college: Mississippi St.) accounted for 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. American point guard Adam Smith (185-92, college: Georgia Tech) came up with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and naturalized Cameroonian Jeremy Nzeulie (188-91) added 8 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for Chalon/Saor in the defeat. Four Chalon/Saor players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Paris-Levallois' next round opponent will be Limoges CSP Elite (#13) at home. Chalon/Saor will play against Chalons-Reims and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
