Regular Season Round 2: Malbas - LF Future 75-55

Malbas (1-1) crushed at home LF Future (1-2) by 20 points 75-55, which is the biggest margin this round on Saturday night. Malbas dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to LF Future's 24. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by LF Future's players. The best player for the winners was forward Stefan Alavuk (201-98) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Kasper Hagberg (185-98) chipped in 22 points and 5 rebounds. Four Malbas players scored in double figures. Naturalized Iraqi forward Samir Ali-Hussein (200-92) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds and guard Robel Gebremeskel (185-95) added 15 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Malbas will meet Djurgarden in the next round and it may be the game of the week. LF Future will play against Trelleborg (#10) and hope to win that game.
