Regular Season Round 3: Guaros 2 - Comuna 93-74

Guaros 2 smashed Comuna in Barquisimeto 93-74. Guaros 2 forced 20 Comuna turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. It was a great evening for the former international swingman Jose Vargas (195-82, agency: Pro Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 7 rebounds. International point guard Heissler Guillent (186-86) helped adding 7 points and 15 assists. Four Guaros 2 players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was naturalized Colombian point guard Jorge Leon (188-79) with 16 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and Alan Balza scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Comuna will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Guaros 2 will try to continue on its current victory against Comuna at Caracas.
