Saint Vallier dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to GET Vosges' 26. Saint Vallier looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by GET Vosges' players. The best player for the winners was American forward Michael Craion (195-89, college: ORU) who scored 20 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). His fellow American import swingman Drake Reed (194-87, college: Austin Peay St., agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 18 points and 5 assists. Four Saint Vallier players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was center Mourad Benkloua (206-92, agency: Octagon Europe) who recorded 12 points and forward Masse Doumbe (203-87, college: Kaiser) added 8 points and 5 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Saint Vallier will face Lourdes-Tarbes (#17) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. GET Vosges will play against Orchesien BC (#18) and hope to win that game.
