Regular Season Round 1: AE Larissas - Peristeri GS 69-106

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of AE Larissas (0-1) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were rolled over by Peristeri GS (1-0) 106-69. Montenegrin center Stefan Knezevic (205-89) answered with 20 points and forward Sotiris Gioulekas (203-79) added 14 points in the effort for AE Larissas. Five Peristeri GS and four AE Larissas players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Peristeri GS's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Athens Psychiko.
