Regular Season Round 3: Igualada - Palma II 79-82

But Igualada was not able to use a home court advantage and was edged by the opponent from S'Arenal 82-79 on Saturday night. Igualada was trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 7-point lead after three quarters before a 25-15 charge of Palma II, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for center Carlos Bustamante (201-88) who led his team to a victory with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Biel Serra (192) contributed with 16 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) for the winners. Four Palma II players scored in double figures. Jordi Torres (188-83) answered with 17 points and 5 rebounds and Miquel Benito added 10 points in the effort for Igualada. Igualada's coach Jordi Marti let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
