Regular Season Round 2: USE Basket - Oleggio 72-62

Everything went according to plan when USE Basket (2-0) defeated Oleggio (0-2) in Empoli 72-62 on Saturday. Oleggio was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Gabriele Giarelli (200-93, agency: Octagon Europe) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Filippo Giannini (184-91) contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Alessandro Spatti (204-95, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with 20 points and 9 rebounds and Dominican guard Shaquille Hidalgo (188-94) added 10 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists in the effort for Oleggio. Oleggio's coach Franco Passera let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. USE Basket will face Super Flavor M. (#9) in Milano in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Oleggio will play at home against Moncalieri (#15) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
