Very expected game when Estudiantes B (0-3) lost to Azuqueca (3-0) in Madrid 73-78 on Saturday. Estudiantes B was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Azuqueca made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game, while Estudiantes B only scored five points from the stripe. It was a good game for Jorge Tejera (200-92) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Guard Agustin Morales (191-90) contributed with 9 points and 4 assists for the winners. Swingman Alex Tamayo (194-0) answered with 20 points and 4 assists and center Bernat Vanaclocha (210-98) added 12 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Estudiantes B. Estudiantes B's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
