Regular Season Round 3: Pardinyes-L. - Vic 82-65

There was a surprise result when Pardinyes-L. (2-1) defeated Vic (2-1) in Lleida 82-65 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Pardinyes-L.. Vic was better in fourth quarter 21-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Pardinyes-L. looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Vic's players. It was a good game for forward Javier Mendiburu (197-80) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 9 rebounds and 16 assists. Forward Pol Domingo (198-90) contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Pardinyes-L. players scored in double figures. Point guard Julian Garrote (185-82) answered with 13 points and GMBn center Buba Toure (203-92) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Vic. Vic's coach Didac Herrero let to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
