Regular Season Round 3: LF Future - Trelleborg 70-65

There was no surprise in Lulea where Trelleborg (0-4) was defeated by LF Future (2-2) 70-65. Trelleborg was ahead by 12 points at the halftime before a 44-27 second half run of LF Future. They outrebounded Trelleborg 54-39 including a 41-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for naturalized Iraqi forward Samir Ali-Hussein (200-92) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 24 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Robel Gebremeskel (185-95) contributed with 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. LF Future's coach Tomas Rutstrom allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Guard Albin Hall-Eriksson (187-96) answered with 13 points and 9 rebounds and guard Jordan-Gerami Lou (-97) added 18 points in the effort for Trelleborg. LF Future will play against AIK Basket (#3) in Solna in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Trelleborg will play at home against IK Eos (#7) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
