Regular Season Round 3: Betanzos - Innova Chef 91-84

Betanzos used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Zamora 91-84 on Sunday night. The hosts trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 35-27 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Betanzos looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a good game for guard Guillermo Pereiro (191-89) who led his team to a victory with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Center Marcos Rozas (202-83) contributed with 24 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Betanzos players scored in double figures. American swingman Corey Raley-Ross (193-91, college: Buffalo) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 16 rebounds and Senegalese center Alioune Senghor (200-96) added 24 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Innova Chef. Betanzos will face Marin (#5) at home in the next round. Innova Chef will play against Culleredo (#11) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
