Regular Season Round 3: Dresden - Dragons 71-73

Important game to mention about took place in Dresden. Dragons Rhoendorf (4-0) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging Titans (1-2) 73-71 on Sunday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Dragons Rhoendorf forced 20 Titans turnovers. Titans were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for power forward Alexander Moeller (208-98) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. American guard Kameron Taylor (198-94, college: Seton Hill) accounted for 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Four Dragons Rhoendorf players scored in double figures. Dragons Rhoendorf's coach Thomas Adelt allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Helge Baues (205-94) came up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Janek Schmidkunz (183-90, college: Amer.Internat.) added 12 points and 5 assists respectively for Titans in the defeat. Dragons Rhoendorf will play against FC Bayern II (#11) in Muenchen in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Titans will play at home against Elchingen to get more than just one victory in their record.
