Movil Estudiantes' fans can celebrate the first win of their team after two consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Burgos, where they defeated Burgos (0-4) 87-72 on Saturday. The game without a history. Movil Estudiantes led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 20-of-22 free shots (90.9 percent) during the game. Strangely Burgos outrebounded Movil Estudiantes 44-24 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The winners were led by American center Alec Brown (216-92, college: Green Bay) who scored that evening 14 points and 5 rebounds and American-Montenegrin point guard Omar-Sharif Cook (186-82, college: St.John's, agency: BeoBasket) supported him with 5 points and 12 assists. Four Movil Estudiantes players scored in double figures. Even 18 points by Serbian center Goran Huskic (210-92, college: Howard Col., TX) did not help to save the game for Burgos. Lithuanian forward Deividas Gailius (200-88) added 11 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Movil Estudiantes (1-2) left bottom position moving up to twelfth place. It was Burgos' fourth loss in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Real Betis and Zaragoza. Movil Estudiantes will meet at home league's leader FC Barcelona in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Burgos will play against Blusens Monbus (#9) in Santiago de Comp and hopes to get finally their first victory.
