Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Santander: Estela (#2) and Cantbasket (#7). Estela (3-0) won against visiting Cantbasket (1-2) 79-68. The game without a history. Estela led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The best player for the winners was Pablo Sanchez (198-81) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Joseba Iglesias (200-83) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Four Estela players scored in double figures. Estela's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
