Regular Season Round 4: ETB Wohnbau - Art.Dragons 63-81

Very important is a home loss of third ranked ETB Wohnbau (2-2) against sixth ranked Artland Dragons (2-1) on Saturday night. Host ETB Wohnbau was defeated by Artland Dragons in Essen 81-63. American guard Pierre Bland (188-92, college: IPFW) fired 15 points and 7 assists for the winners. Forward Max Rockmann (198-88, college: UMKC) chipped in 22 points. Center Adam Touray (208-94) produced 16 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Eric Curth (193-92) added 18 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Artland Dragons moved-up to fourth place in North. Loser ETB Wohnbau dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. Artland Dragons will face RSV Eintracht (#12) in Stahnsdorf in the next round and are hoping to win another game. ETB Wohnbau will play on the road against the league's leader Schalke (#1) and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the ProA just one year after relegation.
