The game in Brest supposed to be also worth to mention about. Tsmoki-Minsk (2-0) played at the court of Brest (0-2). Tsmoki-Minsk smashed Brest 112-40. The game without a history. Tsmoki-Minsk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held Brest to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 53.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Tsmoki-Minsk forced 40 Brest turnovers and outrebounded them 48-31 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 36 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Brest's players. Forward Maksim Liutych (200-97) notched a double-double by scoring 14 points and 16 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Maksim Sazonau (202-96) supported him with 15 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Tsmoki-Minsk players scored in double figures. Even 6 points and 8 rebounds by Kirill Vinokurov did not help to save the game for Brest. Forward Konstantin Solyshko (196-96) added 11 points for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tsmoki-Minsk's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Minsk Tsmoki II.
