Rather predictable result when Roma Luiss (3-0) defeated at home Cassino (1-2) 80-68 on Saturday. Roma Luiss forced 21 Cassino turnovers. Cassino was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for guard Leonardo Marcon (190-95) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 7 rebounds. Center Eugenio Beretta (208-96) helped adding 8 points and 11 rebounds. The best for the losing side was naturalized Argentinian power forward Enzo-Damian Cena (200-92) with 23 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Biagio Sergio (197-86) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Roma Luiss will face Patti (#15) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Cassino will play against Salerno (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
